EXPERIENCED ESTIMATOR

As one of Nuway’s experienced Estimators, you will be responsible for creating accurate cost estimates using common construction standards and practices. You will be expected to:

1. Work closely with the sales, design, and project management teams to uphold Nuway’s purpose of championing our customers’ success by providing superior building solutions
2. Comprehend blueprints and perform material takeoffs
3. Foster relationships with quality subcontractors, ensuring each subcontractor is capable and qualified to perform the work needed on each project
4. Solicit and qualify bids from subcontractors to create detailed estimates
5. Make decisions for quality control and project profitability
6. Draft proposals, conduct peer reviews, and assist in presentations to customers

Our ideal candidate will have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equal experience
2. Hands-on experience in the construction industry (preferably commercial)
3. Sufficient understanding of Microsoft suite (understanding of ProEst and BlueBeam a plus)
4. Attention to detail, expert organization and record-keeping skills
5. Ability to navigate job sites
6. Willingness to learn, ask questions, offer feedback, and work as part of a team
